More Than Forever by Jay McLean My rating: 5 of 5 stars I read the Preston brother series before it and Lucy was already my favorite character there. I admit I am not a fan of this series. The writing is just weird, lots of words that are used to express emotions felt very silly and didn't give the serious impacts when its needed. However, unlike other books despite it flaws I enjoyed this. How can i not ? Lucy is just too funny, her fear of vagina made me laugh. Actually i laughed through almost the first half of the book. Cameron's family just was too good. I am not talking about his biological father. I am talking about his mother and his stepfather (mother's boyfriend?). The relationship between them was really admirable. And Cameron isn't a manwhore , rather very commited and loyal person. Surprise Me by Sophie Kinsella My rating: 5 of 5 stars This book was really fun. I think it's kinda rom-com also chick-lit. At first, I was a bit bored but once I got into the story I was hooked. I admit some parts felt very silly but it was funny. The plot twist was totally unexpected and I loved how it wrapped up everything. Sometimes we need a book that just makes us laugh also makes us feel. It is that kind of book. It makes u laugh and also makes you feel. Parents can't protect their children always. From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout My rating: 5 of 5 stars This is one of the best books I read this year. I was a bit reluctant to read it because it's really long but I am glad I gave this book a try. If I didn't I wouldn't know what I was missing. I must admit the beginning of the book was very slow. Also, I felt tons of information was thrown towards the end like a bucket full of water. It could have been progressed slowly. I was almost lost because lots of information at the same time does that. Both protagonists are excellent. Poppy is a maiden, I felt bad for her. She didn't have any choice in her life. Everything was already decided for her because she is the maiden. She longed for a normal life. Even though she is sheltered, she isn't weak. Keeping 13 by Chloe Walsh My rating: 5 of 5 stars This book is very long, I mostly get irritated when the author makes their book unnecessary long but this wasn't the case for this book. Even though it's lengthy I enjoyed every bit of it. The only thing bothers me that Hughie cheats on his girlfriend but it's not a part of this book so I let it slide. Consolation Prize by Linda Kage My rating: 5 of 5 stars A bittersweet feeling washed over me as I finished this book. Can't believe little Colton is all grown up. I enjoyed the budding romance between him and Julianna. Also, I liked how the author handles racism in this book. The ending with every couple literally made me feel nostalgic. Just don’t steal the blankets.” Their relationship is just pure. It was really good to see how slowly they fall for each other. At first it was platonic but then slowly it became romantic. Be My Hero by Linda Kage My rating: 5 of 5 stars First of all, I don't like the cover. Sorry, not sorry. I have no grudge against pregnant women, instead I respect them because giving birth is a Hella hard. But u have to admit this cover is hideous. Now there's a saying, never judge a book by its cover. Which is true because this book is really good. The hero and heroine doesn't actually gets intimate untill almost 70% of the book which is cool because if the protagonists get together early I mostly lost interest . However I was a bit bored at some point because they don't do anything. The hero goes to work and the heroine takes care of the household, they talk, eat and sleep. That's all. Priceless by Linda Kage My rating: 5 of 5 stars This book is about Brandt and Sarah. They were introduced in To Professor, with Love and Price of a Kiss respectively. I was excited to read this book because both characters intrigued me in the previous books also I wanted to know how the author handles a romance with protagonists with cerebral palsy. I didn't know about cerebral palsy until the show 911 and I was really curious. I have to admit the author portrayed everything very well and it made a lot of sense. Worth It by Linda Kage My rating: 5 of 5 stars This book is really good. I devoured it, a total page-turner for me. It was upsetting to know what happened to Knox in the prison. Felicity is a strong woman. I loved how she sticks to Knox even though he pushed her away thinking she deserves better. I needed more of them. Their present situation and how they cope up with everything. I wish the book was a bit longer with more scenes of them. Also, I wanted more scenes of Knox getting his life together. Price of a Kiss by Linda Kage My rating: 5 of 5 stars This book totally surprised me in a good way. I was a bit hesitant at first to start this book because the hero is a gigolo. But I am glad I tried it. Because once I started, I was totally into the book. It is a beautiful story. Often I have a hard time understanding a heroine. But Resse is just awesome. She is outgoing, fierce, and supportive. Even though Mason is a gigolo, he is actually a very decent guy. He was groomed into prostitution by his landlady and that women introduced him to many rich women. He was in a desperate situation, needed money. I loved how Reese never judged him unlike everyone and understand him. Their friendship was cute. Their conversation, banter is very natural. The way they slowly develop feelings is perfect. It was good to see how they tried to fight their feelings but eventually realized how much they are into each other. I enjoyed how Resse supported mason and help...
